Last Tuesday, our 2nd graders enjoyed a very special visit from Ana Márquez, Karim’s mom, who read the heartwarming story Have You Filled a Bucket Today? by Carol McCloud.
The children loved listening to the message about how our kind words and actions can fill our “invisible buckets,” while unkind choices can empty them. Each student left the library with a bucket full of marshmallows and hearts full of the wonderful reminder that making others happy also fills our own buckets.
