Being grateful is not just a word, but an action, where we become one and our core values come to life. As a community, we have witnessed firsthand how coming together can transform lives and create magic. When we are grateful, when we help one another, we see the divine hand of God uplifting every soul of those who follow in his steps, and his love and work flourish in all its glory.
This spirit of kindness can be exemplified through small actions that can have huge effects. Our students, in the many projects that they will undertake this term, will demonstrate how gratitude can be brought forth in many ways. We can show gratitude when we have the opportunity to travel and embrace our brothers and sisters from other cultures, or through a ‘Tree of Life’ where we illustrate how being grateful every day can have a life-changing effect. It can also be shown by feeling a jolt of happiness when we read touching expressions in a ‘pop-up card’, as well as seeing the transformative power of a simple act and its ‘ripple effect’, or simply by living an ‘immersive experience’ filled with personal art and sound.
Indeed, there are many ways in which gratefulness can be shared and lived. That is why we invite our great Plenus Community to join us in this great “Bearsgiving” event, and support the following organizations, where we can leave our ‘paw print’ on the hearts of others.
We encourage you to donate the items listed below to the corresponding organizations according to the following drop-off schedule:
Dates: We will receive donations in the morning from November 24th to the 27th. You may leave your donations in the entrance when you drop off your children.
Kinder: Drop-off at the Kinder Plenus Entrance.
Elementary and Middle School: Drop-off at the Main Entrance.
High School: Drop-off at the Prepa Plenus Entrance.
La Acción de Dar: Una Comunidad que se Une

Ser agradecido no es solo una palabra, sino una acción, donde nos convertimos en uno y nuestros valores fundamentales cobran vida. Como comunidad, hemos sido testigos de primera mano de cómo unirnos puede transformar vidas y crear magia. Cuando somos agradecidos, cuando nos ayudamos mutuamente, vemos la mano divina de Dios elevando cada alma de aquellos que siguen Sus pasos, y Su amor y obra florecen en toda Su gloria.
Este espíritu de bondad puede ejemplificarse a través de pequeñas acciones que pueden tener enormes efectos. Nuestros estudiantes, en los muchos proyectos que emprenderán este trimestre, demostrarán cómo la gratitud puede manifestarse de muchas maneras. Podemos mostrar gratitud cuando tenemos la oportunidad de viajar y abrazar a nuestros hermanos y hermanas de otras culturas, o a través de un ‘Árbol de la Vida’ donde ilustramos cómo ser agradecidos todos los días puede tener un efecto que cambia la vida. También puede mostrarse sintiendo una chispa de felicidad al leer expresiones conmovedoras en una ‘tarjeta pop-up’, así como ver el poder transformador de un acto simple y su ‘efecto dominó’, o simplemente viviendo una ‘experiencia inmersiva’ llena de arte personal y sonido.
De hecho, hay muchas maneras en las que el agradecimiento puede ser compartido y vivido. Es por eso que invitamos a nuestra gran Comunidad Plenus a unirse a nosotros en este gran evento de «Bearsgiving» y apoyar a las siguientes organizaciones, donde podemos dejar nuestra ‘garra’ en los corazones de los demás.
Los invitamos a donar los artículos enumerados a continuación a las organizaciones correspondientes de acuerdo con el siguiente calendario de entrega:
