Two weeks ago, our 2nd graders had a roaring good time! T-Rex Enrique Quiroz and Dulce Dana’s parents came to visit and share the adorable story “Tiny T. Rex and the Impossible Hug” by Jonathan Stutzman. The children laughed as they watched Tiny T. Rex practice hugging with his tiny arms, using an ice cream cone and even a cactus, so that he could cheer up his friend Pointy. This storytelling experience was truly special, as “Daddy T-Rex” interacted with the students and brought the story to life in such a fun and engaging way.
The children left the library with a little dinosaur souvenir and a powerful lesson about friendship, perseverance, empathy, and the magic of never giving up on someone you care about.
