Last Wednesday, the students of First Grade Alfa experienced something completely new! It was a wonderful surprise, especially for Emma. The moment she saw her mom walking down the ramp, her face lit up with excitement. None of the children knew what was about to happen; they only knew their teacher had promised a special surprise in the library. When Emma’s mom began to read, everyone was amazed to hear her speaking English so beautifully. The story she shared was about a dolphin, and to everyone’s delight, the dolphin’s name was Dani, just like their teacher! The children listened attentively, smiling and laughing throughout the story.
It was a magical moment filled with curiosity, joy, and the warm sense of community that defines First Grade Alfa. We are grateful to Emma’s mom for bringing such a special storytime to our class, a memory we’ll all treasure!
